ENGLISH TRANSLATION–

My name is Shrikishan Agrawal, and I am 70 years old. I joined this community on 18 November 2023, when I weighed 117 kg. Today, my weight is 82.9 kg, which means I have successfully lost 34.1 kg. I feel incredibly happy and super excited every day. My energy levels have increased tremendously. Earlier, I could barely walk, even inside my own home. But now, I am able to do all my daily activities comfortably and independently. Before joining, my doctor had advised me to undergo a knee replacement surgery. In fact, if I hadn’t joined the centre within the next two months, my surgery in Ahmedabad had already been decided. Thankfully, that is no longer needed. I also had a prostate issue, which has now completely improved. My blood sugar levels used to remain very high, but under my doctor’s guidance, I have completely stopped taking diabetes medication. Earlier, I was taking 50 mg medicine for high blood pressure, but now, on my doctor’s advice, it has been reduced to 20 mg. My skin has become healthier, my hair growth has improved, and the swelling in my legs has completely disappeared. I also used to snore even while sitting, but that problem has now gone away completely. Throughout this journey, my wife has been my biggest support. She follows the coach’s advice and has also lost 15 kg. She feels much healthier and happier too. After joining this community, I truly learned how to live for myself. I have become much more socially active and now hold important responsibilities in two social organisations. Today, at the age of 70, I am able to do more than what many 50-year-olds can.
